What's shakin', world!

My name is Kris and I handle the 2D art needs here on team SNP. I draw everything :)  My manufacture year is 1985, right when Nintendo was hitting the USA. Been playing video games since 1988. The joy of gaming and love of the stories are what inspired me to choose the path of the artist. I joined team SNP becuase I adore the crew and I love video games. Making stuff we want to play sounds like tons of fun to me! The current assignment I have going on right now is making our company logo first and foremost. After come posters...and after that there's UI....there's some icons to make....probably more business collateral whatnot....etc......etc......etc. Got plenty on my honey-do list and it's all good.  I hope you all in the audience will stay tuned and join us on this journey. We are a cool little team with a lot of personality and skills to bring our own unique brand of entertainment experience to the gaming community. -Kris

Studio and Blog Introduction

Welcome!      Thank you for joining us here. We are excited to start sharing our journey through game development with you, the reader. This space is where we’ll be sharing updates, insights, and behind-the-scenes looks at what we’re building. This includes projects in progress, lessons learned, and the occasional deep dive into the creative and technical process.      Some posts will be quick updates, others more reflective or exploratory, but the goal is always the same: to document the journey honestly, share what we’re learning, and create a place where progress has a home regardless of whether it is messy or polished. Once our website is finished, there will be a link to in in every post.  This is just the beginning. Thanks for being here. -The SNP Games Team

Hello!

Hi, I’m Jeff.       On this project I mostly handle 3D art, along with some business and marketing work. That said, everyone here does a little bit of everything, and roles tend to shift depending on what needs to get done.       My background is in computer animation and game development. A few of us on the team worked together at a startup in the past, and when that ended we decided we wanted to keep building things together. So here we are.      What excites me most is what we can build long term. This first project was designed as a foundation so we could grow our team and grow as a team while we figure out what works best for us. What keeps me going is the chance to keep learning and improving as we move forward.       I have a lot of ideas. Not all of them are great. I usually realize that when I am saying them or shortly after, and I can hear the eye rolling sometimes (this includes me too). Still, i...
